How we approach the work

We start by learning the business. Before any code gets written we want to know who will use the software and what it has to fix, because the first description of a problem usually leaves something out.

We're engineers, and we care about what happens after the demo. The software should keep running in production without anyone having to think about it much.

We work with startups that are just getting going and with established companies replacing older systems. Being small means the people you meet at the start are the ones doing the work.

We don't push one language or platform. The tools we use most are listed on this page, and we pick from them (or outside them) to suit the project.

Readable code

Code gets read far more often than it gets written, so we write it to be read.

No surprises

You get honest timelines, and you hear about problems when we do.

Today's problem first

We fix the problem you have now and leave the imagined future ones alone.

We finish what we start

We stay until it's running, and we stand behind it afterwards.

What we work with
